The Nashoba Robotics team offers students at Nashoba Regional High School a unique opportunity to learn and to express themselves outside of the classroom. Nashoba Robotics presents a chance for students interested in science, math and technology to further develop and apply his or her interests and skills. The Nashoba Robotics team competes annually in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) high school level robotics competition. In early January of each year, the FIRST organization issues a challenge to all its affiliated teams. Each team then has six weeks to construct a robot to complete the challenge. The robot is then shipped to a regional competition venue where many teams compete for the right to advance to the national competition held in St. Louis, MI. Nashoba Robotics annually attends the Boston Regional Competition at Boston University's Agganis Arena. For more information about FIRST, visit the FIRST web site.
